The Experience

I was super excited to pop into The M Collection. I had been in once before with my husband and I remember LOVING their stuff! Walking in, soon after they opened on a friday, I was so happy to see that there were customers! People shopping! Obviously, this must be because of the great selection of clothes (and shoes…yes! shoes!) but also the customer service! I am sooooo big on customer service and The M Collection gets an A+ from me! Talking with Stevie (the fun girl working that day) it was as if I’d known her for years! In my short time spent in the store, I felt as if I had stopped in to visit a friend! Such a super welcoming atmosphere! Stevie was clearly super passionate about working at the store and knew soooo much about the lines, it was a very pleasant experience as I asked all my questions and snapped pictures! I even got one of Stevie…first time an interviewed employee was brave enough to pose for the camera!!!

Upon walking up to the entrance, I fell in love with the cute, cute, CUTE outfit hanging on the front door. And then, I instantly noticed something else…rarely seen so far on my boutique reviewing journey. A shoe wall! A whole wall!!! And then, another section across the way with more shoes!!! I had to catch my breath!

Something else I found fun and unique is that they take part in the Carlsbad Art Walk. Art created by local artists decorate the walls of the boutique, and the last Thursday of every month, all participating stores are open later, the art is for sale and champagne & chocolates are served! So fun right??

What are some popular items right now?

Definitely the jeggings! They had two kinds when I was in, a thin legging type which was $72 and then a thicker jean type which was $172.

Is there any new exciting items in the store we MUST know about?

YES! New Ella Moss Swimwear line is in!!! Super CUTE! See pics!

What is one of your most popular lines?

Definitely Veronica M… so many great pieces for many different body types. Haviana Sandals are also popular here!

What is the overall store price point?

Anywhere from $20-$200…. The Shoes range from about $40-$140

How many locations do you have?

Two!!! The original location is in Encinitas off Coast Highway… See website for location!

All in All

The M Collection is high end and classy, yet super comfortable and welcoming. Being so close to the beach, it still has a laid back feel without comprimising the store’s elegance and class. I really enjoyed seeing the unique shoe wall and hearing about the stores effort in supporting local artists in it’s community. The M Collection really does feel like a Carlsbad staple… You can’t come to Carlsbad without making a visit!
